At Bay Area Community Kitchens (BACK), we’re providing nourishing meals to those in need in the San Francisco Bay Area. And we’re doing it by supporting our local farmers and purveyors, food service workers, and volunteers. Formed in response to the Covid-19 crisis, our coalition of public, private, nonprofits, and individuals is working to alleviate long term food insecurity in our communities.

Are you in need of food?
At BACK, we partner with the City of San Francisco to provide meals directly to existing food programs.
If you're having trouble getting or affording food in San Francisco, call 311 or go to www.sf.gov/get-food-resources.
Our partners at the SF - Marin Food Bank website can also help you find weekly free groceries, monthly food boxes for seniors, one-time emergency food, or help to enroll in CalFresh (food stamps).
